Will Men in Blue trounce Kangaroos??????
After the first round exile from Champions Trophy 2009, the MEN in BLUE i.e. TEAM INDIA is all set to face KANGAROOS i.e. AUSTRALIA in the upcoming ODI series at home. INDO-AUS face off has its own charm. Its my guarantee that you will get a chance to watch exciting thrilling and cliffhanging cricket.I think this series will give ODI a direction as there were lots of talks regarding scrapping the ODIs.
Let's come to the team that has been selected for the series.Kudos to Sehwag and Yuvraj to make a comeback into the team after the injury. But the most stunning decision that the selectors had taken is DROPPING RAHUL DRAVID drom the series. He is the only cricketer who had performed reasonably well in the matches he got after getting selected in the ODI team.He played five matches and there he scored 180 runs at the average of 36.And moreover he did well as a fielder standing on his favourite area that is slips and took some spectacuar catches.I don't know whether this move was from Dhoni or from the selectors?I don't think Dhoni or the selectors have any answer to this question. OK whatever may be the team but I haven't ever thought that Dravid will be dropped until he announce his retirement. But this is not new. This had happened to many cricketing legends and Dravid had joined in their list.
Looking into the team, it has good combination of experience and youth. There will be huge expectations from Sehwag, Sachin and Yuvraj who will have to play the key role if Dhoni wants to add another series victory in his kitty. The bowling department would be led by Ashish Nehra followed by Ishant Sharma and Harbhajan Singh. As we all know Nehra is looking fantabulous since his comeback into the Indian team. There is a slight problem with the form of Ishant. If Ishant gets his form back against OZ then it would ensure our victory against Oz.If you compare these two teams I would say India has slight edge over them.Although they have Ponting, Hussey in their ranks but I am sure they will gonna miss Hayden, Gilchrist, McGrath and Warne ifor the big time as they used to play major role in the victory of OZ anywhere around the globe. So it's time for TEAM INDIA to pull up their socks and give cent percent on the field rather than giving cent percent off the field.I hope u all guys mean what I meant to say. If India can implement their strategies properly on the field and give their cent percent on the field then I don't think anybody can stop INDIA to regain its NUMERO UNO position..

Is RCB strong enough to clinch Champions League T20 2009???????

RCB, Royal Challengers of Bangalore, the name itself reflects the royalty, challenging, never-say-die attitude and most important immense perseverance and dense combination a team can ever have. This is the team which has the capability of outclassing any team whnever wherever CLASS comes up and i guess i won't be wrong if i call this team an INVINCIBLE and think that this team can clinch the maiden CLT20 2009.
Looking at the combination of the team i would say HATS OFF to Dr. MALLYA.. Any people who can afford can buy a team but how many of them can buy a team with proper balance of INDIANS and FOREIGNERS. Dr. Mallya did that with the help of few of his sub-ordinates. When i had a look on the team for the first time in IPL auction i had got the belief that this team can really do well and why not if I wud have been in place of Dr. Mallya i would have opted for the same combination that he has. What a conbination this team possesses with deep batting line-up in the form of The great wall of INDIA RAHUL DRAVID, Jacques Kallis, Ross Taylor, Jesse Ryder, Virat Kohli, Robin Uthappa and IPL 2009 sensation MANISH PANDEY. Moreover this team has experienced leader in the form of Kumble who had always led from the front...Just remember the first match and last match of IPL 2009. This team has strong bowling attack in the form of Steyn, pravin Kumar and Vinay Kumar who have the capability of destroying any bowling line-up. So if this combination play with unity and back each other then I think I am not wrong if I consider this team to win CLT20 2009 and forthcoming tournaments on their way.
I think RCB has worked out with their strategy and I hope that they would be able to implement that strategy successfully on every team coming up against them.I just hope that each player gives his cent percent on the field and dont panic if the team goes through any lean situation. Rather challenge that situation and prove the opponents that RCB players are really royal. Losing doesn't run in their blood...
LONG LIVE RCB....
I hope at last we can say
ROYAL CHALLENGERS....

Will Dravid wear the Men in Blue shirt again?????

Rahul Sharad Dravid.....The name itself says it all. One of the most technically strong batsmen the world has ever seen. He always served the nation with great commitment and perseverence whenever nation needed him most. This abilities of him had made him earn a nickname in the world of cricket as THE WALL and Mr. DEPENDABLE.He was most consistent performer for india in all form of the games having test average of 52 and ODI average of 39.But after 2006 his performance began to fall. His test average fallen from 58 to 52 and because of his few poor series, he stepped down from the captaincy to concentrate mainly on his batting but it diminished further which led to his ouster from ODI team under the captaincy of newly appointed MS Dhoni. Eventhough he carried playing tests, but there also he was not upto the mark and his performance was quite below average than his actual standards. It went till 18 months and there came a media speculation that he should be dropped from the team as he was struggling for getting into 2-digit score.
But BCCI showed his faith on him and he somehow took a breathe of relief by hitting a ton against England in Mohali December 2008.But the best was yet to come.In IND-NZ test series he smacked 312 runs in three tests and seemed to regain his old touch. This was not enough. In the second edition of IPL, he outscored many youngsters by scoring runs at a strike rate of close to 124 and his temperament of standing on the wicket till the last ball made Royal Challengers to win many matches in IPL2.People, his fans including BCCI started believing that old Dravid is back and he is eligible to play all formats of cricket. This led him to earn a place in the list of probables for champions trophy 2009 which will be played in South Africa after the Indian Selectors decided to use proper mixture of youngsters and experience after India's debacle in World T20 in england where most of the youngsters has found very difficult to play short-pitched deliveries.
As Dravid is there in the list of probables, I think selector has given him a signal to take him back into the Men in Blue squad and my heart says he will be in final 15 who will fly to South Africa. But the only 1 thing that strikes my mind that will he fit in the scheme of things of Dhoni????
As his inclusion means he will be in the playing Xi looking into the stature of such kind of player and this will lead to the ouster of youngsters like Rohit Sharma/Suresh Raina from the playing XI who are even more agile than Dravid.
Will Dhoni go with experience instead of going with young, energetic and agile blood??
This is a biggest question to all the fans of Rahul Dravid and the suspense will continue till the selectors declare the final 15 squad. So as a fan looling at all the scenerio lets hope that he makes into the final 15 and i believe player of his stature should be given an opportunity as his inclusion will strengthen the batting line-up like a concrete wall and i always believe
FORM IS TEMPORARY
CLASS IS PERMANENT.
what say guys????

Is FedEx ready to become CLAY-KING??????????
After 10 days of Rolland Garros event so called FRENCH OPEN we all have seen the most unexpected result which people arond the world had never ever imagined in their life that NADAL wud be knocked out of the tournament.....Since the begining of the tournament NADAL didnt look good as he used to look in his previous versions of FRENCH OPEN...I think Federer came to Paris with only one wish that whoever comes his way, its ok but NADAL shouldn't be encountered with him as we are seeing it from past three years that the duo are encountering in finals of ROLAND GARROS eventwid FedEx being knocked out every year....
So this its a golden opportunity for FedEx to conquer his 1st French Open and match the record of Sampras of having 14 grandslam titles..As he just two steps away from wearing the crown and being referred as a CLAYKING....
Go Federer.........
